What you will do

• Perform rough and finish turning, drilling, tapping, boring, and thread cutting on various ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• Operate and set up basic and specialized machine tools, including mills, lathes, saws, and grinders.
• Interpret and analyze blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to implement operational sequences.
• Use precision instruments like micrometers and Vernier calipers to examine units and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials onto machines while monitoring feed and speed.
• Maintain a clean work environment and strictly follow established safety procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in calculating dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge.
