What you will do

• Deploy, install, and troubleshoot complex computer and network systems at customer sites.
• Perform racking, cabling, software installation, and systems verification.
• Configure and tune software-defined solutions and software applications.
• Develop and deliver technical documentation and training for deployed solutions.
• Collaborate with sales and technical support to expand the organization's technical expertise.
• Fully document all performed work, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux server environments.
• Proficiency in Linux TCP/IP, md, and lvm software RAID technologies.
• Familiarity with systemd, firewalld, and kickstart installation.
• US citizenship is strictly required.
• Ability to travel up to 60% and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• RHCSA or SUSE Certified Engineer certifications.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Knowledge of software-defined storage (Ceph, Lustre) and NOS (Cumulus, Sonic).
• Experience with high-speed networks (InfiniBand, OPA) and GPUs.
• Familiarity with HPC provisioning (ClusterWare, xCAT) and schedulers (Slurm, PBS).
• U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one.
