What you will do

• Drive the DBA organization’s strategy globally for databases (on-premise and cloud), covering operational support, automation, performance, data management, and database security.
• Lead and grow the database organization; partner with business stakeholders and security teams.
• Lead consolidation and modernization of database architecture, including new database project implementations and data migration.
• Lead database design across application and infrastructure teams for implementation, maintenance, consolidation, planning, audit/compliance, security, and budget governance.
• Promote database administration standards and governance to maximize reuse of application systems and shared services while reducing delivery time and risk.
• Oversee multiple projects, mentor teams on methodology/tools/templates/standards, and lead vendor management activities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience in similar roles (Data Architect/Manager, Database Manager).
• Proven Oracle Database Administration experience, including deep understanding of integrations with Oracle Applications ERP, plus strong Microsoft database expertise.
• Incident management and cyber threat experience.
• Ability to influence and manage across IT groups and geographies working with multiple ERP systems, vendors, and consulting partners.
• Ability to work across organizational levels from developers to senior leadership.
• Ability to create white papers outlining advantages and ROI for new technology investments.
