Sr. Solutions Architect (Retail & CPG)

Sr. Solutions Architect (Retail & CPG): Defining and directing the technical strategy for large enterprise accounts to drive adoption of ML & AI within the Retail and CPG sectors with an accent on value selling and technical leadership. Focus on leading customers through transformational journeys and building a network of technical champions.

Location: Must be based in the US (Northeast preferred, but other locations will be considered)

Salary: $219,100 — $301,300 USD

What you will do

• Act as the primary technical voice for Databricks for 1-5 strategic enterprise clients.
• Lead customers through a transformational journey to evaluate and adopt Databricks as part of their business strategy.
• Implement and align technical strategies to maximize product adoption and value within the account.
• Build and cultivate a movement of technical champions within client organizations.
• Provide structured mentorship and guidance to other team members.

Requirements

• Must have US work authorization (implied by 401k/benefits)
• 8+ years of experience working with very large enterprise accounts in the Retail and CPG space.
• 4+ years of experience in a pre-sales capacity or supporting sales activities.
• Technical proficiency in big data, data science, and cloud environments.
• 4+ years of design and implementation experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, OLAP) or full lifecycle data science solutions.
• Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
