Senior Project Engineer (Material Handling)

Location: Hybrid for employees within 30 miles of Atlanta, Georgia, or 50 miles of Irving, Texas, with three office days per week; remote for employees outside these areas. Travel up to 30% is required, including domestic and international travel.

Compensation: Individual compensation is determined based on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, location, and market considerations.

What you will do

• Lead engineering execution for large-scale customer-facing system integration projects.
• Translate customer requirements into engineering plans covering mechanical design, equipment specifications, and site implementation.
• Coordinate Mechanical, Controls, Electrical, and Software disciplines to align deliverables and resolve issues.
• Manage execution from project kick-off through commissioning, including site support and FAT/SAT participation.
• Oversee internal, offshore, and outsourced engineering resources on a project basis.
• Support the design and integration of conveyor, singulation, sortation, and other material handling technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
• At least five years of system-level engineering experience, preferably in material handling, automation, or capital equipment.
• Experience with 3D CAD tools such as Inventor, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
• Experience creating technical data packages, including drawings, bills of materials, and manuals.
• Ability to manage technical delivery, scope, cost, and resources through on-site installation.
• Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Must be able to obtain and maintain required travel documents and legally enter and exit the United States and other countries as needed.
