Technology & AI Adoption Specialist – Operations (AI)

Location: Remote or an IRC office location; open to candidates based in and authorized to work in the United States, United Kingdom, or Kenya. The role requires collaboration across multiple time zones. Local employment contracts and salary scales apply.

Salary: US pay range of $88,277–$102,451 per year; UK pay range of £49,598–£60,040 per year.

What you will do

• Manage a structured pipeline of AI opportunities across Finance, Supply Chain, HR, business development, and other operational functions.
• Work with product owners and operational teams to diagnose pain points, define problem statements, map workflows, and create requirements and user stories for technical teams.
• Co-design, test, iterate, and support the deployment of AI solutions into live operational workflows.
• Track use cases from intake through pilot, iteration, and scale, monitoring adoption, efficiency gains, time saved, bottlenecks, and lessons learned.
• Lead deployment-specific adoption, handling post-deployment support and coordinating iteration requests with development teams.
• Develop role-specific training, workflows, prompts, job aids, FAQs, use cases, communications, and success stories.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in change management, digital transformation, business analysis, learning and development, or a related field.
• Strong familiarity with AI tools and applications, including their capabilities and limitations.
• Experience driving adoption of AI or other technology solutions in complex, matrixed organizations through implementation and sustained use.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, data, workflow-redesign, and requirements-definition skills.
• Experience designing and delivering training or capacity-building initiatives and influencing behavior without direct authority.
• Fluent English is required; candidates must be based in and have the right to work in the United States, United Kingdom, or Kenya.

Nice to have

• Experience in international development, humanitarian, or nonprofit contexts.
• Ability to operate in low-resource, high-complexity environments.
• Proficiency in French, Spanish, or Arabic.
