Fixed Operations Consultant (Automotive): Driving claims performance and operational excellence at franchised dealerships with an accent on vehicle service contract analysis, loss prevention, and process improvement. Focus on coaching dealership leadership, identifying operational gaps through data-driven insights, and ensuring policy compliance across GM Protection products.

Location: Must be based in Fort Worth, TX. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in the office and up to 50% travel to dealerships.

What you will do

• Analyze dealership claims and service performance data to identify loss drivers and operational improvement opportunities.
• Conduct on-site reviews of service processes, diagnostics, labor practices, and administrative workflows.
• Provide hands-on coaching to Service Managers, Advisors, and Administrators on claims best practices and loss control.
• Develop and implement actionable improvement plans to drive sustained performance at the dealership level.
• Collaborate with internal sales and claims teams to align on intervention strategies and dealership visits.
• Present findings and trends to internal leadership and external dealership stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in Fort Worth, Texas or able to commute to the office.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• 5+ years of experience in auto warranty or protection product claims.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in the automotive service industry.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of claims adjudication experience.
• Manufacturer or ASE certifications.
• Understanding of insurance underwriting and captive automotive dealership financing.
