Business Management Intern (Defense): Supporting the North & Western Europe Defense Industry team by conducting market analysis and developing business cases for IT spending in the defense sector with an accent on cloud, AI, and secure communications. Focus on creating value propositions and competitive analysis to drive strategic insights for the 2026–2030 period.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Amstelveen, Netherlands (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office)

What you will do

• Analyze IT spending trends within the defense sector to identify addressable market opportunities for HPE.
• Develop comprehensive value propositions for defense clients based on the HPE product portfolio.
• Conduct competitive analysis and build business cases for estimated defense investments through 2030.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of the Defense Industry vertical on strategic initiatives.
• Present findings and business insights to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program with expected graduation in 2027.
• Strong interest in the application of Cloud Computing, AI, and private 5G networks.
• Excellent English language skills (Dutch is preferred).
• Ability to approach business cases holistically, covering technology, economic, legal, and sales aspects.
• Comfortable presenting work and creating professional presentations.
