Salary: $141,000 - $225,000

What you will do
- Act as a technical owner and domain expert across multiple critical services, driving stability and long-term maintainability.
- Provide technical leadership across initiatives, influencing architecture, design decisions, and engineering protocols.
- Design and build scalable, resilient distributed systems using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
- Own moderately to highly complex features and services end-to-end, from design through production.
- Work across backend services, APIs, and data pipelines, and contribute across the stack when needed.
- Lead adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices and identify opportunities to embed LLM-powered capabilities into production systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with increasing technical ownership.
- Strong experience with Java (8+), Spring Boot, and microservices architectures.
- Proven experience building and operating distributed systems and data pipelines at scale.
- Strong understanding of system design, APIs, data modeling, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
