What you will do

• Design, build, and operate highly available backend services and APIs that form the backbone of the enterprise platform.
• Develop microservices and distributed system components using Go and Java, applying clean architecture and domain-driven design.
• Build a centralized managed API layer and shared data-model management with backward compatibility and versioning.
• Implement configuration- and schema-driven workflow orchestration and business-rules/decision engines.
• Architect integrations using REST/GraphQL and event-driven patterns; build real-time event-driven data pipelines.
• Own reliability through on-call rotations, incident response, root-cause analysis, and observability best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development and production deployment experience.
• Proficiency in at least one statically typed language (Go or Java) and one dynamically typed language (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python).
• Strong computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, OOP) and end-to-end shipping experience.
• Hands-on AWS experience and working knowledge of REST and/or GraphQL API design and integration patterns.
• Experience with asynchronous APIs and message brokers (e.g., NATS, Kafka) plus designing API/event contracts for other teams.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
