What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable data models within the data warehouse to ensure high performance.
• Build and optimize complex ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from disparate sources.
• Enforce data quality standards and governance to ensure reliability of analytical datasets.
• Identify and implement performance optimizations for data models and queries.
• Evaluate and implement modern data tooling and infrastructure improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into engineered data solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics).
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering roles.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex queries and performance tuning.
• Strong ability to write clean, scalable Python code for data workflows.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with collaborative software development tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with dbt (data build tool).
• Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Hex.
• Experience with data ingestion tools like Fivetran or Airbyte.
