Location: Must be based in Huntsville, Alabama. Position requires onsite work Monday-Thursday with situational telework on Fridays.

Salary: $89,222 - $151,678

What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert on environmental planning, management, and compliance initiatives.
• Conduct air emission calculations and prepare permit applications for generators and boilers.
• Develop and implement strategies for environmental planning and regulatory compliance.
• Support multiple high-priority environmental projects concurrently.
• Identify technical problems and present actionable recommendations to the client.
• Interact directly with the client on a daily basis regarding project status and requirements.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
• Master’s degree in environmental engineering, science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional environmental work experience.
• Strong background in CAA, RCRA, and NEPA regulations.
• Ability to work in the field, outdoors, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Relevant certifications such as CHMM, PG, or CPEA.
• Prior military or Federal consulting experience.
