What you will do
- Independently investigate and resolve complex, high-severity claims across auto, general, law enforcement, public officials, and employment practices liability.
- Analyze claim exposures, evaluate coverage and damages, and establish appropriate reserves.
- Collaborate with defense counsel to execute effective litigation and defense strategies.
- Negotiate high-value settlements while ensuring compliance with client guidelines and Florida regulatory requirements.
- Maintain detailed claim documentation and manage caseload priorities to meet service standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, experts, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Must hold or be able to obtain a Florida Adjuster License.
- Minimum of 5+ years of claims adjusting experience with a focus on complex, high-exposure liability.
- Strong understanding of Florida claims regulations and governmental liability considerations.
- Proven experience managing litigated claims and working with defense counsel.
- Proficiency in claims management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment within the United States.
