What you will do

• Analyze coverage and draft position letters for moderate complexity claims.
• Conduct and direct investigations into loss facts and extent of damages.
• Handle litigated and non-litigated property damage and bodily injury claims up to $250,000.
• Set reserves within authority or provide recommendations to management.
• Represent the company in mediations and identify losses for SIU reporting.
• Provide professional customer service while maintaining high production standards.

Requirements

• US Work Authorization required (no visa sponsorship).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commercial construction or insurance claims.
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a claims adjuster license.
• Completion of basic insurance courses or industry designations (INS, IEA, AIC, ARM, SCLA, CPCU).
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Richmond, VA.
