Trade Desk Associate (Financial Markets)

Location: Hybrid, with four days per week in the office in Overland Park, Kansas, or Kansas City, Missouri, United States.

Base salary: $68,000–$88,000 annually, with potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Monitor exchange trading platforms, production and disaster recovery environments, certification systems, and audit logs.
• Escalate platform anomalies and support live communications about system and trading issues.
• Provide first-level support for platform behavior, order processing, market structure, and exchange features.
• Support order cancellations, clearing requests, client onboarding, auctions, rotations, block trades, and ECRP workflows.
• Use SQL and UNIX shell tools to query databases, inspect logs, gather data, and prepare reports.
• Maintain operational documentation and participate in weekend industry testing as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, business, financial services, communications, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of professional experience; internships, coursework, or academic projects are acceptable.
• FINRA Security Industry Essentials Examination and Series 57 licenses are required, or must be obtained within the first eight months.
• Basic familiarity with SQL or UNIX shell environments.
• Strong interest in financial markets, trading systems, and technical support workflows.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
