What you will do
- Design and implement high-availability architectures across on-premises, AWS, and Azure environments.
- Own disaster recovery capabilities, including Zerto replication, failover testing, and runbook maintenance.
- Administer Windows Server environments, VMware hosts, and SAN storage systems.
- Execute cloud migration projects and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure.
- Leverage AI-powered coding assistants to develop automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code templates.
- Participate in an on-call support rota for critical infrastructure incidents and planned production changes.
Requirements
- Must be based in London and able to work from the office at least 3 days per week.
- 10+ years of professional experience in a financial services technical role.
- Strong technical grounding in VMware vSphere, Windows Server, and Dell hardware.
- Proven experience with disaster recovery solutions and AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in PowerShell or Python and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI-assisted development tools into daily workflows.
