What you will do

• Manage the full Risk Management Framework lifecycle for information technology systems.
• Support cybersecurity lab information security planning, infrastructure assessment, and future security program design.
• Design, develop, engineer, and implement security solutions and DHS IT security standards.
• Perform risk analyses, implement and assess security controls, and manage ATO requirements and POA&Ms.
• Lead major technology assignments and provide cybersecurity expertise across multiple complex projects.
• Coordinate with the ISSM, CISO, technical leadership, clients, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required; ability to obtain DHS Suitability required.
• 5+ years of directly relevant information security management experience, or a high school diploma with 7+ years of information security management experience.
• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems or Amazon Web Services.
• End-to-end experience with NIST RMF and Assessment and Authorization, including SSPs, contingency planning, incident and configuration management, control implementation, assessments, and POA&M management.
• Knowledge of computer network defense, defense-in-depth, network security architecture, boundary protection, network segmentation, authentication, access management, and Microsoft Office tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with RMF tools such as CSAM, Xacta, Archer, or RegScale.
• Experience with vulnerability and network scanning tools such as Nessus, Security Center, Tenable, Nmap, Wiz, or Burp.
• Experience with endpoint protection, SIEM, or SOAR tools, including CrowdStrike, CarbonBlack, Splunk, or ELK.
• Familiarity with zero trust architectures, role-based account processing, and scripting with Python, AWS CLI, Lambda, Bash, or PowerShell.
• DoD 8140.01 IAT Level III, CISSP, AWS, Cisco, or Microsoft certification.
