Payroll Advisor

What you will do

• Process payroll from start to finish across multiple contracts within designated timeframes.
• Set up and process new starters, and handle leavers and applicable termination payments.
• Calculate redundancy and notice payments, including statutory and occupational payments (e.g., SMP, SPP, SSP, Occupational Maternity Pay, Sick Benefit).
• Produce payroll reports for different departments and ensure clear communication and deadline alignment.
• Liaise with third parties such as pension providers, HMRC, and courts to support payroll processing.
• Handle payroll queries professionally, complete correspondence on time, and maintain high-standard records and filing.

Requirements

• Payroll experience in a fast-paced, multi-site, multi-contractual environment.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of payroll and pension legislation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of HMRC reporting, including benefits in kind.
