TL;DR

New Business Developer Lead (Tech & Durables): Driving organic growth and revenue for the Tech & Durables industry by identifying new prospects and expanding existing client portfolios with an accent on market research data and customized insights. Focus on executing end-to-end sales processes, building sustainable networks, and achieving individual revenue targets within the Belgian market.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Leuven office in Belgium (Hybrid)

Compensation: €35,400 – €50,000 gross per year

What you will do

  • Own and exceed individual revenue targets through proactive lead generation and client acquisition.
  • Identify upselling opportunities for retail measurement data and customized research services.
  • Execute the full sales cycle, including feasibility analysis, pricing, proposal writing, and contract negotiation.
  • Develop and maintain a sustainable external network of prospects and clients.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment and successful delivery of new product-market combinations.
  • Monitor sales progress using CRM tools and adjust strategies to meet quarterly and annual budgets.

Requirements

  • Language proficiency: Must be fluent in at least two of the following: Dutch, French, or English.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • Proven experience in sales, commercial roles, or relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of the Belgian Tech & Durables business landscape.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional networks.
  • Results-oriented mindset with experience in both short-term and long-term sales planning.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Market Research or T&D Trade/Category management.
  • Familiarity with retail tracking business services.
