TL;DR
New Business Developer Lead (Tech & Durables): Driving organic growth and revenue for the Tech & Durables industry by identifying new prospects and expanding existing client portfolios with an accent on market research data and customized insights. Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Leuven office in Belgium (Hybrid)
Compensation: €35,400 – €50,000 gross per year

What you will do
- Own and exceed individual revenue targets through proactive lead generation and client acquisition.
- Identify upselling opportunities for retail measurement data and customized research services.
- Execute the full sales cycle, including feasibility analysis, pricing, proposal writing, and contract negotiation.
- Develop and maintain a sustainable external network of prospects and clients.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment and successful delivery of new product-market combinations.
- Monitor sales progress using CRM tools and adjust strategies to meet quarterly and annual budgets.
Requirements
- Language proficiency: Must be fluent in at least two of the following: Dutch, French, or English.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Proven experience in sales, commercial roles, or relationship management.
- Strong understanding of the Belgian Tech & Durables business landscape.
- Ability to build and maintain professional networks.
- Results-oriented mindset with experience in both short-term and long-term sales planning.
Nice to have
- Experience in Market Research or T&D Trade/Category management.
- Familiarity with retail tracking business services.
