Constructor is a U.S.-based e-commerce search and discovery platform utilizing generative AI to optimize revenue and conversion rates for global retailers.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and support robust high-load recommendations services.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and stability testing frameworks.
• Set up comprehensive service observability, monitoring, and alerting systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and update product functionalities.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong computer science background with familiarity in networking principles.
• Experience in designing and maintaining high-load real-time services.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with compiled languages like Go or Rust.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Skilled in observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and PagerDuty.
• Experience with NoSQL, relational databases, and distributed systems.
• Excellent English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience with major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of communication protocols like protobuf.
• Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture.
