What you will do

• Lead the development of critical backend services within the hirify.global product.
• Design and implement architectural improvements to ensure scalability and robustness of the backend solution.
• Design and maintain schemas and data structures, developing data integration processes and pipelines.
• Create ETL/Streaming processes to ingest and transform diverse customer data.
• Establish scalable, efficient, and automated processes for large-scale data analyses.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
• At least 3 years of experience with Python, relevant web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask), and data manipulation libraries.
• Must be based in Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, or Serbia.
• Experience in a Cloud Native environment, specifically AWS (required).
• Strong knowledge of REST API design, SQL (advanced analytics), and experience with both relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Fluent English proficiency (written and verbal).

Nice to have

• Solid experience as a Backend and Data Engineer.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and managing associated challenges.
• Background in MLOps.
