What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and operational oversight to sustain high availability of critical trading platforms.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a globally distributed SRE team across European and APAC time zones.
• Manage platform configuration, project execution, and change management for trading infrastructure.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for production incidents, coordinating triage and root cause analysis.
• Drive capacity planning and identify opportunities for task automation using Python and AI tools.
• Analyze technical data sets and logs to troubleshoot systemic issues and optimize platform performance.

Requirements

• Must be based in London, UK and able to work on-site.
• Fluency in English (C1+) is required for precise communication across global teams.
• Extensive experience in technical operations, software engineering, or systems/network/database administration.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and UNIX shell scripting.
• Strong leadership experience in a senior or management role.
• Familiarity with European and US market structures is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in networking (TCP/IP and Multicast) and NIC configuration.
