What you will do

• Assist with building out observability, monitoring, and alerting systems for key services.
• Collaborate with product teams to plan and implement reliable system requirements.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response under senior guidance.
• Develop scripts and tools to automate tasks and reduce operational toil.
• Contribute to disaster recovery and systems resiliency testing.
• Support the migration of markets applications to Google Cloud Platform.

Requirements

• Keen interest in SRE practices.
• Experience with Linux-based systems.
• Basic programming or scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to adapt to a fast-paced trading environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, GCE, or GKE.
• Knowledge of OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Experience with distributed systems and Kubernetes.
• Basic knowledge of networking protocols (HTTP, TCP, UDP, IP).
• Background in financial markets or message-oriented middleware.
