SQA Tester (Remote)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; core office hours are 8am–5pm ET.

Salary: $100,000–$105,000 annually.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment for IT products.
• Create test plans, scripts, scenarios, and functional, regression, and deployment tests.
• Coordinate test sites and participants to plan and conduct test events.
• Implement testing processes, produce activity reports, and track test metrics.
• Track defects and errors, support the defect database, and report findings to management.
• Analyze failures, throughput, and yield to drive continuous test process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline plus 10 years of experience; 8 additional years of relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle and testing VistA, GUI applications, and Section 508 compliance.
• Experience using Jira in an Agile or SAFe environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Demonstrated remote work experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal agencies.
• Experience in VA Pharmacy and VA project management or reporting methodologies.
• Additional Section 508 testing experience.
• Ability to learn new skills and client environments quickly.
