Staff Cybersecurity Engineer - Identity Platform Engineering (IAM/IGA)

What you will do

• Modernize and migrate identity governance capabilities, including access requests, approvals, fulfillment, access reviews, certifications, and evidence generation across SailPoint and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Build reliable IGA platform infrastructure using standard patterns, automation, configuration and version control, repeatable onboarding, and operational readiness practices.
• Design IAM automation and platform components such as APIs, scripts, CLIs, services, and jobs, then deploy and operate them in AWS with Git-based delivery, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Standardize application onboarding through SSO and provisioning integrations such as SAML, OIDC, and SCIM, with reusable templates, reliability gates, monitoring, logging, rollback plans, and runbooks.
• Improve identity lifecycle reliability across joiner, mover, and leaver processes, including automated deprovisioning, access revocation, authentication and authorization patterns, MFA, OAuth, and Microsoft Entra Conditional Access.
• Operate IAM as a production service through monitoring, incident response, on-call support, post-incident improvements, and cross-functional delivery with HR IT, IT, Enterprise Security, and the SOC.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IAM, cybersecurity engineering, identity platform engineering, or comparable work.
• Hands-on experience with identity lifecycle management, governance, authentication and authorization, privileged access fundamentals, and an enterprise identity platform such as Microsoft Entra ID or Okta.
• Strong programming ability with Go, Python, or PowerShell, plus Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform or CloudFormation, and AWS or an equivalent cloud environment.
• Experience supporting production identity systems with monitoring, incident response, continuous improvement, and on-call participation.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, conduct design and peer reviews, deliver staged rollouts with rollback readiness, and drive adoption of standards and automation.
• Must be located in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
