What you will do
- Run the cross-functional forecasting process and continuously improve forecast accuracy.
- Identify and eliminate root causes for forecast deviations; initiate corrective actions and optimizations of forecasting models and tools.
- Own the SKU/article forecasting process across all horizons and domains, ensuring accuracy, robustness, and scalability.
- Act as the central interface between Demand & Inventory, Product/Tech, and business teams to translate business needs into forecasting solutions for S&OP/E.
- Establish KPI-driven performance management and develop regular and ad-hoc reports on forecasting performance and critical deviations.
- Lead initiatives to standardize, simplify, and enhance forecasting processes, tools, and data flows across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in forecasting (sales/demand/SKU/inbound/outbound forecasting, data analytics, or business intelligence).
- Proven experience applying and advancing statistical forecasting models at SKU/article level in a fast-paced environment (e.g., e-commerce, CPG/FMCG).
- Intermediate SQL skills for reading and querying data.
- Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint; experience with MS Power BI and Tableau is required to be considered a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize processes and drive informed decision-making.
- Ability to present complex ideas clearly and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
