What you will do
- Provide evidence-based, patient-centred menopause care in line with NICE, British Menopause Society (BMS), and relevant clinical guidance.
- Assess patients and create tailored treatment plans, including prescribing HRT, supplements, and other menopause-related products (with training and mentorship for complex prescribing).
- Deliver holistic care via asynchronous messaging and video consultations.
- Support continuity of care for long-term management of menopause and perimenopause symptoms.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team (MDT) and participate in clinical MDTs, case reviews, and continuous clinical governance.
Requirements
- MRCGP qualified GP with full, unrestricted GMC registration.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a GP (5+ years desirable).
- Confident delivering care in a digital/remote setting (video and asynchronous).
- Experience in menopause care and HRT prescribing is beneficial (e.g., menopause specialist service).
- Additional qualifications such as DRCOG, DCSRH, or the BMS Certificate are beneficial.
- Warm, empathetic communication and commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and evidence-based medicine.
