What you will do

• Lead the independent review of PRA IRB approaches and regulatory capital interpretations.
• Perform compliance assessments of Senior Management Function (SMF) annual attestations.
• Review and challenge the notification framework and regulatory notification types within the IRB framework.
• Monitor and challenge the impact of regulatory capital rules on risk appetite.
• Assess the impact of capital regulation on new products, transactions, and business proposals.
• Communicate complex regulatory capital matters to senior stakeholders and regulators.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience at the PRA, a European regulator, or a bank with IRB approach permission.
• Deep understanding of capital regulations including PRA Basel 3.1 and Capital Requirements Regulation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and interpret technical regulatory papers.
• Proven ability to analyze banking organizations and financial products with a focus on capital implications.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with senior management and regulatory bodies.
• Must be based in London for this onsite role.
