What you will do
- Lead the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis to maintain financial integrity.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and payroll providers to ensure correct transaction capture.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
- Manage the preparation and submission of periodic VAT, Vies, Intrastat, and CSO returns.
- Support the implementation of the Oracle Fusion ERP system in 2026.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA)
- Knowledge of maintaining both Local and US GAAP accounting ledgers.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Must be willing to work on a hybrid basis in Cork, Ireland
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
