New Product Development Engineer (Mechanical)

What you will do

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for new and existing Everpure Home products.
• Own the mechanical design process from concept through production, including CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Execute tolerance analysis, DFMEA, specification development, prototyping, and validation.
• Design and conduct full system testing to integrate and validate product performance.
• Apply Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM/DFA) principles for injection-molded, sheet metal, and assembled components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Chemical, Electrical, Software) and external suppliers to optimize designs and costs.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of engineering design experience focusing on consumer products or appliances.
• Proficiency with CAD programs, specifically Solidworks.
• Experience using engineering tools such as FMEA, DOE, DVP&R, RCCM, and PLM.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Brookfield, WI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in residential appliance design.
• Expertise in injection molding design and sheet metal design.
