Product Design Engineer (III) (CAD)

Location: Hybrid role in Mountain View, California, United States

Salary: $95–$105 per hour on W2

What you will do

• Apply engineering fundamentals and analyze data to implement product-level design improvements.
• Own complex product design areas, materials, components, assemblies, or systems for user and consumer products.
• Develop and validate system-level solutions involving manufacturing processes and materials such as sheet metal, machining, anodization, injection molding, coatings, packaging, thermals, and FEA.
• Identify product risks and program roadblocks, communicate them independently, and address design issues.
• Participate in design reviews, technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior engineers.
• Present technical work to management and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience designing mechanical components, assemblies, printed circuit boards, or flexes.
• At least 5 years of experience using CAD tools such as 3D MCAD, NX, Creo, or SolidWorks.
• Experience with complex product design, engineering analysis, design validation, and manufacturing considerations.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple functional areas.
• Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Mountain View, California.
