What you will do

• Research and design stainless-steel fixtures, valves, and ancillary components utilizing sheet metal, casting, machining, and injection molding.
• Apply DFM principles specific to laser cutting, punching, and press brake forming.
• Develop and maintain 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Perform laboratory testing and gather data to support prototype validation and performance evaluation.
• Create technical documentation, including fabrication drawings and assembly instructions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in sheet metal design and new product development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and drawing creation (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite at the Oviedo, FL facility.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Hands-on experience supporting assembly or working in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of industry standards related to valves, fixtures, or sanitary design.
• Experience with lab testing and data acquisition.
