What you will do

• Provide detailed cost advice, including preparing cash flows, pricing estimates, and cost plans.
• Perform complex trade and elemental take-offs for pre and post contract QS services.
• Conduct site visits to complete valuations of work performed on site.
• Manage, reconcile, and update cost reports and perform monthly cost analyses.
• Establish client requirements, undertake feasibility studies, and maintain ongoing communication to resolve issues.
• Lead and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors, including junior employees.

Requirements

• Must be based in Sydney, Australia.
• Expertise and accreditation in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Membership in a professional body such as AIQS, RICS, or CIOB.
• Advanced knowledge of the local construction industry across development, contracting, and consulting sectors.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Buildsoft, and Cost X.
