What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable platforms that abstract infrastructure and security complexity for tenant developers.
• Develop IaC templates using Terraform and CloudFormation to ensure efficiency, reliability, and security.
• Manage the IaaS Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for current systems and plan future releases.
• Implement strategies for availability, latency, performance, and capacity planning.
• Build automation playbooks and tools for logging, monitoring, alerting, and auto-remediation.
• Perform Linux and Windows server administration, including security hardening and virtualization.

Requirements

• TS/SCI Poly clearance is required.
• Must be based in Sterling, VA.
• Strong understanding of Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian) and Windows Server operating systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevSecOps and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and logging systems.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or NoSQL database management systems.
• Relevant certifications: AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Architect, LPI, or Terraform Certified Professional.
