Consultant, Advisory (Real Estate Valuation)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America; flexible activity-based work model combining office collaboration and remote work for focused tasks.

Salary: $65,000–$95,000 annual base pay, excluding bonuses, equity, benefits, and other incentives.

What you will do

• Manage the quarterly valuation process for institutional real estate funds and appraisal management engagements.
• Coordinate client requests, team workflows, project plans, deadlines, budgets, and client deliverables.
• Use advanced Excel, VBA, data simulation, analytics, and data visualization to improve quantitative client deliverables.
• Review third-party appraisal reports for quality, USPAP compliance, and compliance with state regulations.
• Communicate with clients and appraisers to resolve valuation concerns and prepare portfolio metric presentations.
• Review junior staff work, provide coaching, and build relationships with client stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Statistics, Data or Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, VBA, macros, Power Query, Pivot Tables, and Power Pivot.
• Experience in commercial real estate valuation, asset management, acquisitions, or underwriting.
• Expertise in financial analysis and modeling for commercial property types using ARGUS.
• Strong communication and project management skills, including deadline, risk, and deliverable management.
• Experience managing the client deliverable lifecycle with a record of successful delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with R or Python statistical programming, SQL, Tableau or Power BI, and Snowflake.
