Linux System Administrator (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $77,000–$163,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.

What you will do

• Design, develop, deploy, and support advanced cybersecurity capabilities in a Technical Engagement Network lab environment.
• Administer and configure Linux/Unix, Windows, macOS, iOS, and virtual environments at scale.
• Monitor Red Hat platform security and health, produce daily findings reports, and provide patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, and technical support.
• Build automation solutions with Red Hat OpenShift, Ansible, Ansible Tower, Satellite, Docker, Kubernetes, and Podman.
• Integrate, configure, maintain, and patch commercial, government, and third-party applications in containerized environments.
• Manage access control, backups, storage and replication issues, system security, performance, SOPs, and assigned project components.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to work in the United States are required.
• Active DoD Secret clearance is required; TS/SCI is preferred.
• Ability to obtain DHS Suitability is required.
• At least 5 years of directly relevant Linux systems administration experience.
• At least 2 years of macOS and iOS experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, computer systems engineering, or a related field; alternatively, a high school diploma and 7+ years of lab management or systems administration experience.

Nice to have

• Experience writing technical procedures and standard operating procedures.
• Virtualization automation and optimization experience.
• Experience with multiple operating systems, including Linux/Unix, Windows, and macOS.
• DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II certification.
