What you will do
- Lead operations for training and technical assistance (TTA) engagements for entities receiving CDBG-DR funding.
- Direct cross-functional teams of subject matter experts and trainers to build capacity for TA recipients.
- Serve as the primary liaison between TA recipients and HUD.
- Coordinate the delivery of trainings on regulatory and grant-specific requirements and compliance.
- Oversee product development work plans to ensure high-quality creation of tools and materials.
- Manage project schedules, staffing, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience working directly with CDBG-DR programs.
- Minimum 2 years of project and personnel management experience.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery and community development implementation at state or local levels.
- Must be based in the continental US.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
Nice to have
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Direct experience managing CDBG-DR programs at a grantee or consulting firm.
- Experience with multifamily developers, housing authorities, and affordable housing.
- Experience with hazard mitigation and resilience strategies.
