What you will do

• Design and implement backend IT solutions based on technical and analytical documentation.
• Modernize existing business-critical platforms and migrate legacy code.
• Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems using distributed transactions and queues.
• Conduct application security scans to identify and remove vulnerabilities.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and JEE.
• Practical experience with RabbitMQ or similar message queue systems.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases and REST API design.
• Experience with JBoss/WildFly and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).
• English: B2 level required.
• Location: Must be based in Poland and able to work from the Warsaw office 4 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, acquiring, or financial services.
• Familiarity with Hazelcast, Saga patterns, SOAP, or RMI.
• Experience with GWT / GWTExt.
