What you will do

• Lead and inspire a team of transaction monitoring analysts, including both local and remote team members.
• Drive standards in transaction monitoring and sanctions screening through risk assessments, rule tuning, and profiling.
• Analyse and investigate patterns and trends to continuously improve investigations and rules.
• Conduct investigations on suspicious transactions and ensure adherence to local and global compliance policies.
• Manage SLAs and deadlines to meet team and company goals.
• Act as the primary point of escalation and manage stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in transaction monitoring, financial crime management, or AML investigations.
• Must be based in London.
• Proven track record of managing performance against objective targets using data and analytics.
• Strong leadership skills to influence and motivate others.
• Strong analytical skills; proficiency in SQL is preferred.

Nice to have

• AICB, CAMS, or CFE certifications.
• Previous experience within the Fintech industry.
• Experience managing a team of analysts.
