Observability Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Observability Engineer (DevOps/Fintech): Developing and maintaining data flows and creating Grafana and Power BI dashboards for a financial project with an accent on telemetry and infrastructure monitoring. Focus on implementing observability solutions, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing data visualization for faster issue resolution.

Location: Hybrid from Gdynia, Gdańsk, or Warszawa (2/3 days per week from the office)

Salary: 1000-1200 PLN/day on B2B

What you will do

• Develop and maintain telemetry data flows and monitor applications and infrastructure.
• Create and optimize Grafana and Power BI dashboards for enhanced system visibility.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical experts to implement observability improvements.
• Participate in team planning sessions and contribute new ideas for system monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the observability domain.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of observability fundamentals (metrics, logs, traces).
• Experience with Grafana, Grafana Alerting, and configuring data sources like Prometheus, InfluxDB, or AppDynamics.
• Knowledge of dashboard design and data visualization best practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Git/Bitbucket.
• Proficiency in JSON and scripting skills in Bash and/or Python.
• Fluent English proficiency.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Splunk or AppDynamics.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Experience working in international Agile teams.
