What you will do

• Design and implement scalable observability solutions across logs, metrics, and traces
• Build robust APIs and data pipelines for high-throughput real-time data ingestion
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate observability solutions for monitoring and debugging
• Optimize observability infrastructure for performance, cost, and user experience
• Develop tooling to automate onboarding and sunsetting of components
• Contribute to the strategic roadmap of the observability platform

Requirements

• 7+ years software engineering experience with 3+ years in observability platforms or distributed systems
• Expertise in monitoring, alerting, incident response, and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Jaeger, OpenTelemetry
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform)
• Proficiency in Python as primary engineering language
• Ability to work remotely from specified countries
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and observability challenges

Nice to have

• Experience in DevOps, SRE, or developer experience roles
• Familiarity with multiple cloud platforms and their observability services
• Contributions to open-source observability projects
• Experience prototyping solutions to complex problems
