Senior Account Manager

Location: United States; flexibility to work from home or an office based on discretion and schedule

Base salary: $90,100–$167,900 per year, plus potential performance-based incentives

What you will do

• Create and implement customized service plans for commercial insurance clients.
• Build client relationships and understand the full scope of their business needs.
• Analyze coverage, complete applications, prepare submissions and proposals, and negotiate coverage and pricing.
• Manage proposals and renewals while providing risk management recommendations.
• Review the accuracy of colleagues’ work and guide others on a fast-paced team.
• Travel for client meetings as needed.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in commercial Property & Casualty insurance at an agency or related company.
• Ability to interpret complex insurance policies, applications, and proposals.
• Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, and agency management systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a positive attitude in a high-energy environment.
• BS/BA in Business, Insurance, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain it after hire.
• CPCU, ARM, CISR, or another relevant Property & Casualty designation.
• Experience with Applied Epic.
