What you will do

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle (discovery, definition, delivery) for specific product areas in lockstep with Engineering and Design.
• Drive the implementation of LLMs into reliable mortgage automation, defining requirements, evaluating tradeoffs, and setting success criteria.
• Lead customer discovery through interviews with mortgage lenders and ops teams to inform the roadmap.
• Prototype product ideas hands-on using AI coding tools to provide concrete starting points for Engineering.
• Craft detailed product specs and acceptance criteria to ensure Engineering and Design can move quickly.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to influence positioning and deal cycles.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Technical background, such as software engineering experience or the ability to read code and contribute meaningfully to architecture conversations.
• Fluency with LLM concepts, including prompting, evals, retrieval, and fine-tuning.
• Experience building B2B SaaS products in regulated industries like fintech, insurtech, or healthcare.
• Proven track record of shipping in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Exceptional written communication skills for creating clear, concise specs and documentation.

• Direct experience in mortgage or lending domains.
• Data fluency and comfort pulling dashboards to form quantitative hypotheses.
