Staff Geologist I

Location: Fort Worth, TX, United States; travel 90% of the time

What you will do

• Assist with field investigations, including soil and rock sampling, drilling oversight, and groundwater monitoring.
• Collect and interpret geologic and environmental data through field observations, measurements, and testing.
• Prepare logs, maps, figures, technical reports, proposals, and recommendations.
• Analyze field data and support senior staff in evaluating geologic hazards and site conditions.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols in field and laboratory settings.
• Maintain accurate field records and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to conduct fieldwork involving some heavy lifting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel 90% of the time.
