Salary: $87,360 – $126,186.67 per year

What you will do

• Manage accounts payable, reimbursement activities, and collections.
• Analyze and maintain financial information for the DOJ Office of the Comptroller.
• Generate and reconcile weekly financial reports using specialized management systems.
• Process federal government travel and labor transactions in accordance with regulations.
• Prepare financial documentation for review by government agencies.
• Provide technical support for system error resolutions and database management.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Two-year degree in accounting or four-year degree in a related field with 30 credit hours in accounting.
• Experience with commitments, obligations, and interagency reimbursement agreements.
• Proficiency in manual and automated accounting systems.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in quarterly review, accrual, and closeout processes.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in UFMS, JEDI, SAFARI, E-2, and advanced Excel functions.
• Experience with Budgeting Cycle Management and financial fraud research.
• Background in auditing and cash flow analysis.
