Line Lead (Manufacturing)

TL;DR

Line Lead (Manufacturing): Leading a production line for medical nutrition with an accent on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Focus on embedding the Integrated Work System (IWS), managing 24-hour operations, and developing team capabilities on the shop floor.

Location: Hybrid role based at the Zoetermeer Supply Point. Must be based in or be able to commute to Zoetermeer, Netherlands

What you will do

• Manage daily line performance, ensuring safe operations, product quality, and clear daily priorities.
• Deliver operational targets regarding output, reliability, and cost through structured follow-up and action planning.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing losses and strengthening daily management systems.
• Build team capability through coaching, onboarding, and training across shifts.
• Create a positive working climate by encouraging ownership and collaboration.
• Lead the Run-to-Target (RTT) process and develop IWS standards.

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally within food, FMCG, or packaging.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams on the shop floor.
• Structured approach to managing performance and analyzing root causes.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, operations, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in Dutch (must) and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or digital production systems.
