Salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan, schedule, and assign work to the Systems Engineering team while monitoring overall function and training staff.
• Oversee the administration, installation, and configuration of operating systems and servers following Change Management practices.
• Administer and maintain the Casino's primary revenue-generating gaming system to ensure stability and reliability.
• Manage high-priority problem events and coordinate status updates with the Director of Infrastructure Engineering.
• Drive the creation of technical documentation, project tracking, and management reporting.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical hardware, OS, and application issues, determining when onsite presence is required.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or 6+ years of experience in an IT environment.
• Must be located in or able to commute to Verona, NY for onsite requirements.
• Deep experience managing multi-server distributed environments or distributed networks.
• Proficiency with VMWare, Nutanix, and other Hypervisor tools.
• Hands-on experience with Windows 200x, AS/400, AIX, Linux, and UNIX.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, IBM SAN/disk technologies, and networking.

Nice to have

• One year of leadership experience in an IT environment.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
• Experience working with gaming or hospitality systems.
