What you will do

• Develop, test, and implement migration strategies for Windows Active Directory (from 2003/2008 to 2012 or most recent versions).
• Manage Microsoft Active Directory, including the implementation of GPOs to support STIG settings on file and print services, DNS, and Domain Controllers.
• Build, configure, and manage Microsoft Windows servers within multi-tenant enterprise environments.
• Maintain hardened Windows operating systems to ensure strict STIG compliance.
• Utilize VMWare for virtual infrastructure management and VB/Powershell to automate common system functions.
• Collaborate closely with server operations, application, and middleware teams.

Requirements

• Must possess or be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• CompTIA Sec+ Certification is required.
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in desktop engineering and Active Directory administration.
• Experience using the Remedy Ticketing system (ARS).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with senior government leadership.

Nice to have

• ITIL v3 Foundations Certification.
• Experience with SCCM methodologies.
• Experience working with large scale datacenter design and operations.
• Experience writing shell scripts and utility programs for Windows system maintenance.
