What you will do
- Lead and mentor analytics engineers while remaining hands-on with code, data modeling, design, and code reviews.
- Build LLM-powered internal copilots, workflow agents, and intelligent data quality bots for business and product teams.
- Design and maintain the semantic layer of metrics, entities, and metadata in dbt and BigQuery.
- Implement AI evaluation and monitoring frameworks to track quality, cost, latency, and drift using tools such as Langfuse or Phoenix.
- Own ETL pipelines, warehouse modeling, and data quality on BigQuery.
- Partner with stakeholders to define technical solutions, scope work, plan resources, and track delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of analytics engineering or data engineering experience with data modeling, ELT, and data warehousing.
- 3+ years of leadership or mentoring experience with analytics engineering teams.
- Advanced SQL and Python skills, with hands-on expertise in dbt and BigQuery or equivalent platforms.
- Experience designing and rolling out large-scale automation or data-driven solutions with measurable impact.
- Knowledge of semantic layers, metrics frameworks, metadata management, and technical project planning.
