What you will do

• Define and lead the mission-critical engineering strategy for EMEA, aligning regional standards with global product direction.
• Serve as the final technical authority for all engineering decisions, ensuring robustness, regulatory compliance, and design integrity.
• Govern electrical and mechanical topologies, redundancy strategies, protection philosophy, and cooling architectures.
• Establish and enforce formal design freeze and change control mechanisms to prevent performance erosion.
• Lead Centre of Excellence teams to optimize BCO and TCO targets and drive value engineering.
• Oversee engineering alignment with DfMA strategies, procurement, and construction phases.

Requirements

• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in mission-critical engineering, data centers, or comparable critical infrastructure.
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; chartered status is essential.
• Proven expertise in multidisciplinary engineering systems (Electrical, Mechanical, Fire, ICT, and Security).
• Experience working across multiple countries and regulatory environments within EMEA.
• Strong background in engineering modelling, system integration, and performance validation methodologies.
• Ability to operate effectively within a matrix organization and influence across multiple functions.
